Martin Jørgen Andersen, Project Manager in Nordvand Stormwater discharge to Øresund
I lange præsentationer kan det være en fordel at inddele i kapitler. Det skaber struktur og gør det lettere for tilhørerne at følge med – eller hoppe på igen. Du kan finde flere kapitelforsider i nederst i denne præsentation Why?
Huge level of flooding Flood after rainstorm
Status - dammings from existing combined sewer system
Bathing water quality can be improved

Discharge permission Demands: Discharge having first flush of 100 l/s to the combined sewer system Initial dilute of at least 1:5 No environment-enhancing substances that can harm the aquatic environment No outlet that can harm the bathing water quality at the nearby beaches. Nordvand can be imposed to examine any changes Grit champer on all stormwater gutter wells

Diffusion calculation
The assumptions for the calculation -In the stormwater the concentration is set to cfu/100ml for E.Coli and 8000 cfu/100ml for enterococci’s (The National Agency of environmental Protection) -Requirements for excellent bathing water quality at 250cfu/100ml for E. Coli and 100cfu/100ml for enterococci’s must be applied with 100 meters from the coast -Weather situation corresponding to a summer dag without any wind and no currant
Reflections and unanswered questions -Missing clear official standards in terms of enironmental affect -Very expensive ”swimming ticket” -Where should the bar be placed in terms of enteroccoci and E.Coli -How does the wind and currant affect the delute of the stormwater -When is first flush needed -How long time should first flush be used (when is the first water which is most polluted gone from a stormwater system)
