Nye virksomheder driver den økonomiske vækst (OECD, EU, WEF) Det er let og billigt at starte virksomhed – og rigtig mange gør det. C20 indeks er fantastiske virksomheder. De er alle 30+ år, og flere +100 år. Store C20 virksomheder gør fantastiske ting. Nogle vækster reelt. Meget ringe jobeffekt. 84 years 112 years In Denmark we have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with lots of start-ups. However only a few of these start-ups grow to become future market leaders. Scale-up Denmark aims to create a new group of fast growing companies The international tendency is that young companies drive growth. But in Denmark the top 50 companies are all at least 30 years old. The Government’s goal is 32 new 1000-employee companies by 2020 Scale-up Denmark will contribute to achieving this goal 169 years

Off. Investe-ringer De nye danske gazeller SCALE-UP DENMARK We asked experts in the field – practitioner: Where are we really good in our regions. Where business perform above the average. We located 11 strong holds. Places where we’re really good – also by international standards. We now have a cocktail of: Access to world class training programmes Finance – incl. EU structural funds Marked leading anchor companies, who will help us 10 regional centers The market is not ready for the virtous cycle to revolve by itself. We still need a gentle push – RISK capital – from the public sector. We will have the companies of comorrow: 300 trained 1200 new staff in the 300 companies in 3 years.
