The UCPH Housing Foundation does not gain profits from the rent you pay. We are the administrators and we are working for you so you have all your housing contracts through one agent. 1 year maximum of service – focus on helping as many as possible when they arrive in Denmark for the first time The housing situation in Copenhagen in the spring Contracts are binding for students for the period the contract is signed for. Students that receive scholarships, grants, or bursaries may not be eligible for the subsidy, however. Please contact your local Borgerservice Center (addresses can be found on our website) for more information and note that you are responsible for understanding all the rules prior to applying. The move-in report is your opportunity to remark on the condition of your residence when you move in. This way we are aware of damages or broken items and are able to fix these, if needed. Also, the report is your “insurance” in regards to the return of your deposit when you depart. Your issue reports stays in your flow. Please note - after this period you risk that it is no longer possible to report a pre-arrival damage - but you are always welcome to contact us and talk about it! Please be considerate to roommates, flatmates & neighbors, also the surrounding neighborhood. Parties should be approved by your neighbors and never last past 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. Hosts/ initiators of a party have the responsibility for (organising) the post-party clean-up Coordinate with flat/roommates when you have issues you need to contact the Housing Foundation about. Later on it may be too late! Cleaning is much more fun if you do it together If a roommate or flatmate leaves earlier than the other(s), make sure you both/all help each other with a thorough ‘spring cleaning’ of the common areas Pay extra attention to: - Keeping the drains clean - Decalcifying wet areas - Airing out your room every day all year around - Removing garbage on a daily basis Youtube.com has great tutorials Danish Residence Assistants (RA) are staying at Signalhuset, Bispebjerg, Tåsingegade and Østerbro Kollegiet. They assist you in working out how to solve everyday issues in your residence

Typical deductions in connection with your move-out An unclean room or unclean common areas after your departure Damages – such as broken furniture Lost keys and lost laundry card If you have paid too much rent, the excess amount will be returned to you together with your deposit.
